The Bridies
The Bridies bring together the lead fiddle soloists from Michael Flatley's 'Lord of the Dance' and 'Celtic Tiger' shows, the lead accordionist from 'Riverdance' and a guitarist from some of Ireland's most popular bands. This explosive all female group of high-powered, high-caliber, highly talented musicians produce a unique blend of Celtic music, rock 'n roll, dance and comedy unsurpassed by anything you have seen or heard before.

Our theme, Shamrockin’ 2010 spotlights the significant contributions the Irish have made to music over the years. Many of the current genres we enjoy today, such as folk, country, cowboy, rock and bluegrass, have been influenced by celtic music.
We are honored to have The Bridies as our 2010 Grand Marshals. They are an exciting female foursome of high-powered, high-caliber, highly talented musicians that produce a unique blend of Celtic music, rock n' roll, dance and comedy. These lovely Irish lasses descend upon Denver every St. Patrick’s Day weekend to play at the popular “Green Tie Event” fundraiser sponsored by the Metro Community Providers Network. (MCPN). On behalf of the hundreds of volunteers who work so diligently year round to bring this parade to the streets of LoDo, I am honored to extend an invitation to each one of you to join us in celebration on March 13, 2010! Denver is home to one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parades in the nation with close to 10,000 marchers, over 230 entries, and nearly 200,000 spectators! I would like to extend a heart felt “thank you” to Bellco Credit Union and all of our other sponsors and advertisers whose financial support allows us to bring this amazing parade to you each year. Remember, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!
